Project Background

Researchers asked us to create visuals for their informed consent documents.

Our Work

We produced pictograph-style illustrations, including animated GIFs, to help potential participants understand what they were being asked to do. The illustrations depicted sample collection, possible risks, and information sharing.

Results

This literacy-focused consent document was evaluated in a study published in the American Journal of Bioethics: Empirical Bioethics.
