Helping children feel more in control during medical experiences
Project Background
A team of pediatric psychiatrists and psychologists asked us to help them create a digital resource for children experiencing anxiety, fear, and discomfort in a medical setting. The goal of the project was to create a set of generalized audio resources that were similar to the personalized versions they often make for individual patients.

Our Work
We produced a website and a set of audio recordings voiced by a child psychologist. The website includes an introductory video to help children understand the purpose and value of the audio resources. The website uses abstract colors and visuals of calm children to reflect the purpose of this digital tool.

Results
The website has been used by more than 30,000 people.
