Helping families understand asthma
Project Background
Childhood asthma is an increasingly common problem in the United States. We were asked by a children’s hospital to provide patient education videos to explain the basics of asthma triggers, medication, and management.
Our Work
We created a whiteboard video series with simple, easy-to-understand illustrations of asthma.
Results
The videos continued to be used by several children's hospitals. They were also evaluated in a study published in the journal Academic Pediatrics .
